Our 115m2 home has 3 bedrooms, two balconies, and a front garden that opens up to a park-like field. It is in a new building near Nørrebro designed by Bjarke Ingles' architecture firm. This is an article about the building: https://politiken.dk/kultur/arkitektur/art6506536/Nordvest-har-f%C3%A5et-nogle-af-de-mest-attraktive-almene-byboliger
The apartment is a duplex with its own entrance and a swing in the living room. it's got windows for walls and a bunk bed for the kids. There's a grocery store on the corner, a bus to everything right across the street, and bikes for you to borrow. We love our home and we think you will too!
We are Jon (Danish), Abby (American), 5 year-old Georgie (Danish and American!) and 3 month-old Sofus (also both!)
We go to New York for the summers, where we used to live so Abby can run a summer camp!
We moved to Copenhagen this year and are excited to take short trips to nearby European cities.
We think we live in the best part of Copenhagen, especially for families. We are surrounded by awesome parks, a 10 minute walk from the coolest parts of Nørrebro and across the street from the 66 bus that is a straight shot to anything you want in the heart of Copenhagen in 20 minutes. There's a grocery store right next to our building and we are steps away from the awesome Rentmestervej Library.
We moved here in December from Brooklyn and this neighborhood felt like the best parts of home so quickly!
