About our home

Our home is a classical Copenhagen bourgeois-apartment from the turn of the century, located in a protected historic building in the Danish variation of jugendstil. Situated in central Copenhagen. It is painted in light colours inspired from the painter Hammershoi and has original wooden floors and different stucco in all of the rooms. Large windows offer a great view of the dome of Marmorkirken, Osterbrogade and the sky. Located on 4th floor you can enjoy a busy view without audible noise. The living room has a sofa and a flat screen tv (incl.dvd&vhs) with two fatboys as well as a selection of jazz-cds. The kitchen is equipped with stove, dishwasher and everything you need for a nice dinner at home. We normally have breakfast in the kitchen but in the evening we like to dine in the dining room, and we also have a home office (broadband, printer etc). Bathroom has shower, tub and washing machine and a separate toilet. A master bedroom and two kids bedrooms, one very large with computer and tv. Total sleeps five. We recommend you experience CPH by bike. Two bikes included.

Where is it?

Osterbro the most prestigeoius of CPHs traditional bridge-neighbourhoods, right in the central city and yet only five mins bikeride from the sea (15 mins bike to nearest beach) and with great running/walking tracks around Soerne (the lakes) or in Copenhagens major park. Around the corner you find everything you need including CPHs nicest spa built in the 30ies and recently restored (sauna, steamroom, aromatherapy), cinema and art museums. Osterbrogade is a lively shopping street with delicatessen and restaurants, reflecting that the area is full of embassies and busy young professionals. Wine bars and cosy cafes and one of CPHs best shopping areas with Danish design, fashion and furniture. Just outside the door there are 4 main bus lines to take you anywhere around CPH, Osterport station is a 7 minutes walk away with connections to all of Denmark; every 20 mins to the airport and to Sweden.
