About our home

Get a chance to live in a charming, old townhouse in the heart of Copenhagen. The house is located on the colorful street Olufsvej in the neighborhood Østerbro - a residential area of Copenhagen that is home to cool designer shops, broad boulevards, the largest public park in Denmark, and the little Mermaid.

The house dates back to the 18th century and has recently been fully restored. The house is 180 square meters and consists of ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor and a fully restored basement. There’s a charming sunny backyard with a terrace ideal for barbeque.

Ground floor:
Hallway and a large room that combines kitchen, dining room and living room. There’s direct access to terrace and garden from the kitchen.

1st floor:
Living room with TV and bathroom (toilet, bathtub and shower)

2nd floor:
Bedroom with king-size bed, children room (bunk bed that sleeps 2 and a baby bed) and small guestroom (medium-sized bed).

Newly restored basement with bathroom, pantry, washing room, and a large room where more people can sleep if needed (we have an airbed).

We have a cat named Otto, and we prefer that guests take care of him too. He's a big, lazy outdoor cat that enjoys belly rub. No biting or scratching. If Otto is a problem we will try to place him elsewhere.

Where is it?

Olufsvej is a street about 100 meters long with the most charming and colorful society house building in Copenhagen. It’s a very quiet and family-friendly street. It’s located next to Østerbrogade where you’ll find shops, restaurants and grocery stores (basically at the end of the street). The bus takes you to the City Center (Nyhavn) in 10 minutes. There’s also great connections for going up north (Louisiana, Dyrehaven and the beach).
