About our home

Our place - soon to be your place - is a nice and sunny apartment located in central Copenhagen.

It has a spacious living room furnished with modern Danish Design and a colour full decor. A good place to relax in the large sofa, enjoying the last rays of sun or just watching a movie on the projector - while taking a rest from the busy street life of Copenhagen.

The bedroom is a minimalist's dream with room for your clothes plus a selection of English literature to delve into. A smaller room is perfect for playing music/relaxing and comes with a couple of acoustic guitars and art on the walls. In the kitchen you will find all modern amenities so no arguing about who's doing the dishes.

The apartment is on the third floor and has a nice garden with lots of trees and a playground. It is a great place to spend a summer evening joining a barbecue or playing petanque.

More about us

  1. We are Marius and Marie Louise, an academic couple aged 28 and 34, working in the government administration and enjoying the Copenhagen vibe - that is when we're not busy exploring other interesting sites around the globe. We have both been studying, working and living abroad in Rome, London, New York and a couple of other places and appreciate interacting with other cultures. We speak English, German and a bit of French and Italian. We very much enjoy travelling and are very drawn to the concept of staying in local areas, living like the locals and staying around for a bit longer than the ordinary tourist.

We love staying in the larger cities but somewhere rural or near the beach would also be very welcome.

We will take good care of your home and hope you will do the same.

Cheers from Marius & Marie Louise.

Where is it?

Welcome to the most happening district in Copenhagen. Situated on a quiet street with roadside trees just a stone's throw from the city's most beautiful park and surrounded by restaurants serving NOMA-like dishes(New Nordic Cuisine), exellent coffee places, nice cafes, record shops, art studios and the likes. If you enjoy a mix of cultures, a busy vibe, good food and are ready to hang out, enjoying life and doing the odd bit of people-watching in a relaxed atmosphere - this is the place to be.
If you should ever get tired of the neighbourhood and want to see something else it is centrally located just ten minutes from the city center and serves as a good base for exploring Copenhagen by bike or public transportation. To visit the city of Malmø takes less than an hour by train, crossing the bridge to Sweden. Going to and from the airport takes only half an hour.
