About our home

Close to the metro and the largest Copenhagen park area, my newly built and modern 2 bedroom apartment is situated on Amager, 3 kilometers from the Copenhagen city center.
The city is easily accessible via metro that runs 24/7 with 10 minute intervals or by bike, which can be rented anywhere in Copenhagen.
Home gym equipment such as yoga mat, jump rope, kettle bell and dumbells are also at your disposal.

The area I live in is very quiet, and my apartment is spacey with two bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a large, open kitchen-living area with all amenities. There is a washer and a dryer in the bathroom, and computer, wifi, flatscreen with netflix and video-on-demand is available along with some english langued books of various topics.

Two metrostops from the apartment you'll find Fields. A shopping mall complete with a cinema, cafés and restaurants. Døgnnetto - the local grocery store - is placed right next to DR Byen (Danish Broadcasting Company), its a five minute bike ride away.

I recommend going into Copenhagen city for restaurants, cultural venues and shopping sprees. The fastest and easiest means of transportation is most definitely renting a bike. I have one bike available at the apartment, but there are numerous bike rentals all over town.

For drinks, I recommend Ruby, Bar25, Holmens Kanal, Gilt, Nimb Bar and Brass Monkey. Great places, great drinks. For wine go to Ved Stranden 10, Falernum, Malbec at Elmegade or Balthazar (a beautiful champagne bar).
Great dinner places are Höst (nordic), Ranee´s (thai), Umami (sushi), MASH (steaks and sides), Enomania (italian), Restaurant Rebel (french), Le Sommelier (french) and Nimb (nordic/french). Some of them being a bit pricey but the food is impeccable.
For Michelin level dining try Noma, Geranium, Formel B, Kong Hans Kælder, Kiin Kiin and Kadeau. Copenhagen offers amazing dining and drinks experiences. For something less formal try Copenhagen Street Food at Papirøen. Delicious and affordable.

And of course: don't forget to visit Tivoli and/or Christiania (the free city), and for art - visit the galleries in Bredgade, the National Museum, Glyptoteket (my fvourite) and the State Museum of Art.
Also - Copenhagen has great recreational areas all over the city, so enjoy an ice cream (Paradis is are the BEST!) or a glass of wine near the harbor or in one of the numerous parks. That's definitely one of my favourite things to do in Copenhagen.
