About our home

Our apartment is an spacious charming newly renovated flat 100 square meters with high ceiling, old beautiful wooden floor and filled with light and modern furniture. We have 2 large living rooms facing the park with a balcony, one large bedroom, one smaller bedroom (sleeps one), a modern kitchen, ans a small bathroom with shower. The building was build in 1895 and has all the charm of the that period. We have a court yard with trees where we hang out in the summer time and have barbecues with friends.

More about us

We love to travel. This summer we spend in Berlin and London visiting friends and family. Julien has lived in New York and Miami and South of France. We have never tried exchanging homes before but find it an interesting new way of travelling.

Where is it?

Our charming apartment is placed in the heart of the old Copenhagen in the lively Nørrebro. This part of town is the up and coming trendy part of the city packed with galleries, cafes, sunny squares and trendy new designer shops. Our apartment is facing the large old park/cemetery Assistentens Kirkegård where all the famous Danish writers and philosophers are buried. Including Hans Christian Andersen. The park is known for all its old blooming trees. See photos. The park is the Danish is version of Parish's Pere Lachaise. In the spring and summer people picnic in the park. The people who live in our neighbourhood is mainly young academic families with small children. We love to walk around in our neighbourhood and hang out at out door cafes, walk around the lakes, shop in the small delicatesse and designer shops.
