About our home

The apartment is situated at 2nd floor in a house from 1875. We have 7 rooms, sleeping 5 beds and 2 extra matresses: dining and sitting room, 1 parent bedroom (with a bed 200x210), 2 guest rooms, 2 offices, one bathroom with toilet, and one seperate toilet - and lots of books. The kitchen is with an opening to the dining room. We have a nice balcony out to the courtyard. The place is at the border between Vesterbro, an old working class quarter now renovated, and City with Central Station, Tivoli, Town Hall Square, Shopping Streets, Museums, the Royal Palace etc. The street is a quiet pedestrian street, a socalled "Museum Street", with old lamp posts, paving stones etc. - because the Copenhagen Museum was a neighbour building. The neighbours opposite to back side (north-east) is traditional elderly buildings, now renovated. To street side (south-west) there is a little free area with green surroundings, meaning there are no buildings just on other side of the street.

Where is it?

We have excellent public transportation (bus, subway called S-tog, seperate Metro lines, trains). Busses just round the corner, but you can walk all over the city, no busses really needed - or you can use our two bikes. Also lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets round the corner. 7 minutes walk to the Central Station and Tivoli, 1 minute from a nice park with a great playing ground.
