About our home

Our home is located in a small village named Strib on the island Funen in Denmark.
We have lived here since 2000 and love this area!
We totally renovated our house in 2011, so everything is very convenient and up to date.
We have a large lovely garden - with swings, trampoline and playhouse in the tree for the kids - and a huge terrace for relaxation and barbecue.
We have mountainbikes for 4 people - Denmark is a very bike-friendly country with lots of routes and tracks in the nearby woods.

We also have a second home for exchange. A small, old townhouse in Rudkøbing on the island: Langeland.
See some photos of this at the end of the photogallery. I can send you more, if you want to see the interieor.
See more information about this here: www.airbnb.dk/rooms/6124368

So perhaps you would enjoy to have two totally different houses in two parts of Denmark during your holiday.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Strib is a very lovely small village by the sea.
At the end of our street you meet the beach - we have water everywhere!
Strib is located in the middel of Denmark. You are only 45 minutes drive from Billund airport and the famous "Legoland" - and only 180 km from our capital Copenhagen.
Just 5 minutes drive you will meet Middelfart. A beautifull town by the sea. Here you have very fine shopping, museum, a cosy habour and nice restaurants.
You can go "bridgewalking" on our "Lillebæltsbro" from 1935, explore the sea on a boattrip, take a bikeride into the countryside or just eat good fish at the harbour.
