About our home

Our home is a Funkis style home from 1954. Drawn by the same architect (Ole Nørgaard) who also designed the Lousiana museum sculpture garden. We just finished an extension adding 2 extra rooms ( the Junior area ) + 2 new bath rooms including bathtop and a large extra entrance. We just installed ground heat (very environment friendly heating ), this is why the grass is about to grow up again. the grass should be up by Juli. In the living room there is both a fireoven and a fireplace and ready to burn wood. The piano can be played and there is a big collection of Classical and Jazz vinyls that can be enjoyed.
The parents sleeping room is not so big, but there is a 220*200 bed. Then there is 2 kids rooms. 1 with a single bed and 1 having a double size bed 180*200. The junior rooms has new beds as well 140*200.
We have no television but a projector and free super fast fiber internet and wifii, that covers all house and garden area of 1200m2.
We have washing maschine and dryer, and a well equiped kitchen including dishwashing.

The Deer garden begins at the opposite side of our street having more than 2000 deers. 5-10 min drive to the beach. Save bicycle roads to the beach and harbor and to Copenhagen city. There is a Tennis court, a golf club and some horse ridign farms close by. The very nice Louisiana museum is futher up the coast line close to the Krongborg museum, where the "Hamlet" Theater took place. As well Frilandsmuseum is close by. This is a museum where very old farmer houses and garden can be seen in the nature in a nice big garden area. The Viking museum is 30 min drive away.
