More about us

  1. We are a couple in our 40s, non-smokers. We don't mind if pets stay (and we'd love to look after your pets while you're away).

Our family lives on the other side of the island, and can provide you with fresh eggs and cup of tea (and your pick of Xmas tree if you come in the winter).

We have family in Milton Keynes (UK), so we'd be really interested in hearing from you if you live in the home counties. We love hiking, cycling, nature, city breaks and skiing.

Where is it?

We live in a small hamlet called Bodilsker, close to a harbor (so you can see the sea from the house :-) Our nearest town is Nexø (4km away), which has shops and a fantastic bakery for warm Danish pastries!

The nearest beach is called Balka, which is 5km away. Dueodde beach (10km away) is considered to be one of Europe's largest and best beaches, where the sand is so fine and white. The beaches here can be enjoyed all year round. They are natural, with lots of wildlife and not built up.

We live near Paradisbakkerne (Paradise Hills) where you can try to move the famous 'rocking stone' which was brought over during the ice age. There are three excellent rambling routes here.
