About our home

We live in a lovely old townhouse in the old part of Ribe (the oldest town in Denmark) and the house is situated in one of the oldest street right in the center of Ribe.

Our house is twofloored and suiteable for families.

We have a nice closed garden with a lawn, greenhouse and two terraces.

Inside consists of: Entrance, livingroom/sofa lounge, combined kitchen and diningroom, 1 master bedroom, 2 children rooms with fold out sofaes (for sleeping), 1 children room with a bed and two bathrooms.

A cosy, personal house with lots of things for children (we have 3 ourselves) - both toys and stuff for babies and older children, f.ex. WII, playstation and a large trampoline in the garden. Inkl. Wifi.
Our house is situated central, but in still a very quiet area.

Ribe is beautiful, a great turist town and a good centre for touring.

More about us

  1. We are a young couple: Peter who is 47 and Vibeke who is 42 and we have been married for 15 years. Peter likes sport and Vibeke likes being with friends, coocking and the garden.
We are both teachers and enjoy working with young people.

We have 3 sons: Oskar who is 15, Karl who is 13 and Kristian who is 8 year olds. And we also have a cat (which can be otherwhere if needen!).

We enjoy familylife, playing with our children and the company of good friends. We love having the house full of our friends - coffee or barbeques. We are interested in other cultures, countries and travelling. We also like renovating our old house, and love the relaxed atmosphere here in Ribe.

We have done 7 succesfull home exchanges (summer 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018) and love traveling this way.
