About our home

We live in a lovely old townhouse in the old part of Ribe (the oldest town in Denmark) and the house is situated in one of the oldest street right in the center of Ribe.

Our house is twofloored and suiteable for families.

We have a nice closed garden with a lawn, greenhouse and two terraces.

Inside consists of: Entrance, living room/sofa lounge, combined kitchen and dining room, 1 master bedroom with double bed, 2 children rooms with double bed, 1 children room with a bed and two bathrooms.

A cosy, personal house with lots of things for children (we have 3 ourselves) - both toys and stuff for babies and older children, f.ex. WII, PlayStation and a large trampoline in the garden. Inkl. Wi-Fi.
Our house is situated central, but in still a very quiet area.

Ribe is beautiful, a great turist town and a good centre for touring.

More about us

  1. We are a young couple: Peter who is 49 and Vibeke who is 44 and we have been married for 17 years.

Peter likes sport and board games with good friends.
Vibeke likes being with friends, cooking and the garden. She also loves studying (pedagogue, psychology and special needs) and does so from time to time

We are both teachers and enjoy working with young people.

  2. We have 3 sons: Oskar who is 17, Karl who is 15 and Kristian who is 11 year old.

And we also have a cat and a little dog (which can be other where if needed!).

We enjoy family life, playing with our children and the company of good friends. We love having the house full of our friends - coffee or barbecues. We are interested in other cultures, countries and travelling. We also like renovating our old house, and love the relaxed atmosphere here in Ribe.

  3. We have done around 10 successful home exchanges (between 2010-2021) and love travelling this way.
We love the way it gets more personal and rich on culture and experiences.!
