Our home is a 165 m2 one-storey house, with a big garden. With access from the kitchen and the living room there is a terrasse with garden furniture and a barbecue, and in the back yard you can get fresh eggs from the hen house, pick peas in the vegetable garden, play croquet or make a bonfire.
The house has a bright and typical scandinavian furnishing. The well equipped kitchen has a cosy dining area, with a pull-out dining table. The living room has a large corner sofa and a dining area with a another pull-out table.
There are 5 bed rooms in the house, 2 with double beds, one with a double sofa bed, and two with single beds. We have one bath room and one toilet.
We have toys, baby bed and a pram.
Our house is situated on the outskirts of the town. Skjern is a typical Danish provincial town, with all the supermarkets (one of them just 200 metres away) and shops you need. But if you really want to shop, you can go to Herning or Esbjerg, both a 45-min-drive away.
Our house is just a 5-min walk from the meadows, which is a part of the national park of Skjern River. It is a lovely area for a walk. There is also a play ground nearby, as well as a big park.
The beach of the North Sea is half an hours drive away, but you can also go to Ringkøbing Fjord, which is only 7 km away. There are several places to go surfing here.
