About our home

We offer a home which we love and enjoy very much ourselves! It is comfortable, cosy and with a nice atmosphere. We have three bedrooms, one with a high, single bed - there is room to play or to sleep under it as well - one with a single bed and one with a double bed. It has a kitchen with adjoining dining room and sitting room, so you will not be left alone cooking in the kitchen! We have a large back yard that is private with lots of room to enjoy life and play.

More about us

  1. We are Mette (40, interpreter and studying theology) and Christian (44, IT-specialist), a married couple with two children - brothers at 12 and 5. We have done a couple of home exchanges before, and find it a great way to get to know new people and areas in the world.
We have a labrador, Soya and a guinea pig, Nougat.

Where is it?

Our town is a quiet suburb, and offers easy access to the 2nd largest city in Denmark - Arhus. By bike, car, bus or train you will reach a great variety of tourist attractions. We have a widely known art museum, Aros, with the spectacular "RAINBOW PANORAMA" by Olafur Eliasson on top ( ), The Old Town ( ), lively shopping areas, outdoor music-events, theaters and so much more. Not to mention the great nature! We are very close to the sea - where we like to go swimming - so nice in the evenings with barbecuing on the beach! The forests go all the way to the sea, and you can even go there by horse.

By car you can easily reach places like

The original Legoland ( )
Djurssommerland ( )
Skagen - the top of Denmark ( )
