About our home

Our house is clean and functional and suites both couples and families. We live in historical surroundings in a former military area, that use to be base camp for The Danish Air Force. Today the inside of the houses are completely renovated in a very modern style - while the house fronts is still kept in a 1900'ish-style.

The house maintains two bedrooms, kitchen-cum-family-room, an office with computer and printer, two bathrooms/toilets, a garden, two terraces and a garage.

More about us

  1. We are a young couple who loves to travel. Michael works as an officer in the Danish Navy and Camilla works as a journalist in the danish Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
We haven't got kids yet but spend a lot of time with our cocker spaniel Luna. (But she will not be home for the holiday ;)

This is our first home swap, and we really look forward to try it.

We are open-minded, and will do our best to make your stay as good as possible.

Thank you for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you!

    Camilla and Michael.

Where is it?

We live in ‘Værløse’, which is very close to the freeway and only 25 minutes from the centre of Copenhagen - with lots of shopping possibilities. The drive from Kastrup Airport(in Copenhagen) only takes 35 minutes.

Sigthseeing in Copenhagen offers sights as: Tivoli, the little mermaid, Nyhavn, beaches (like Bellevue), museums (like Louisiana) and fine restaurants like Noma which recently won the title: The worlds best restaurant!

The local neighbourhood is nearby lakes and forest with a golf club swimming bath and riding school as 'neighbours'.
Our real neighbours are very friendly families who will do their best to make your stay as good as possible. You will have free access to our tennis court as well as the playground for the children.

The weather in July is usually 25-30 degrees.
