More about us

  1. We are a couple with three grown up sons, married and living in three different Continents.
    Tore is retired from the Inter American Development Bank, and chose Quito Ecuador, Celeste’s Birthplace, as an ideal place to be part of the year. Celeste is an interior Designer with few Projects a year.
    We travel often and meet our sons and their young families in different parts of the world. We also vacation only the two of us.
    We love everything beautiful as arts,theater,opera,museums, historic sites, nature, culinary adventures and also seaside places.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our home is located in a quiet Family oriented neighborhood very close to everything the Valley of Cumbaya has to offer: 450 meters lower than Quito, Beautiful sorroundings, all kind of restaurants, small shops as well as small,medium and large shopping centers, art galleries, cinemas, a first class hospital, onlyy 10 minutes by car, horseback riding classes, around the corner, near everything. The international airport is ca. 20-35 minutes depending of the time of the day traffic.

All international cuisines first class restaurants are present in stylish Cumbaya as well as Family and children friendly country Inns that offer both local and international cuisines, plus beautiful views of our snow covered volcanoes and noumereous mountains and valleys

Mainly restaurants and bars. Quito and all it can offer, a short 15-20 minutes car ride, will take to innumerable places of cultural and social entertainment.
