About our home

Where is it? The house is on Amatecampo beach, only 45 minutes from San Salvador. Amatecampo beach is about halfway between La Libertad beach and Costa de Sol beach. It is near the town of San Luis Talpa, reached via the highway to the Comalapa international airport. Amatecampo is a very quiet area with miles of deserted beach for walking, running. If you want nightlife, this is not the place (unless your idea of nightlife is sunset with a glass of wine or stargazing).

What is the house like? Our house is a well-maintained beachfront brick house on a large private lot. The house is right on the beach, about 15 meters from the front door to the sand. It has big picture windows and great 120 degree views of crashing waves from kitchen and living room. The house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The house is fully screened and fully furnished. There is daily cleaning and pool maintenance by a local caretaker.

And the outside areas? The property has a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, great views, plenty of coco palm trees and big lawn. There are also fabulous shaded areas to enjoy the breeze, beach, and ocean views, including a covered dining area, a seating area near the pool, and a hammock area fronting the ocean.
