About our home

***Looking for a large villa (for 9 people) with heated pool in South-Europe for Easter 2018***

Welcome to our beautiful two bedroom home (107m2) in the heart of old Helsinki. Perfect for families with kids. The house was built in 1893, so we have high ceilings and decorative fire places. Our home has just been renovated with new flooring, kitchen, bathroom (more photos to come). Our children are 13, 11 and 2 years old so we have toys and games to choose from (PS3, X-box, legos etc.). The inner court is full of toys as there are many families living in this house with small children. Overall the neighbourhood is really nice with good services within 5 minutes walk; a bakery, wine shop, grocery stores, a deli (, Hakaniemi market hall, nice restaurants and bars.

No need for a car. Public transportation works well and the city center is in a walking distance.

More about us

  1. We're a family of five. Our three children Elli, Anton and Risto are aged 13, 11 and 2.

  2. Ville (47) works in forestry and Niina (43) creates food concepts in a design agency. She has started a food store called Anton&Anton ( that is located just few blocks from the flat. Go and grab your scones and fresh juice from the deli!

  3. We enjoy good food, our friends, traveling and ordinary family life. Summertime is spent in our summer home (especially July) so the flat is at your disposal even if we would stay in Finland. Renovating our summerhouse, gardening and boating are our main summer activities. In winter we like to go skiing.
