  1. We are a family of five persons. Parents, two boys (11 and 13) and girl (6).

  2. Jouni works in the ad agency as an account director, partner and Pauliina is an entrepreneur in restaurant and in ice cream business

  3. We like beautiful nature, sea, sun, outdoor life and all kinds of sport

Neighbourhood

We live in the Hirvensalon Island 9km from the city center of Turku and this is beautiful Finnish archipelago.
Turku is the oldest city in Finland and you can sense it. Here are beautiful old buildings. River runs through the city and it’s the heart of it. There is many nice restaurants and walking promenade along by it’s side. You can go also by bike anywhere along good biking ways. Turku is very lively city and you can find many happenings here.

Turku is known as restaurant city in Finland. There is many nice restaurants, bars and cafes. For every price category.
Bit of culture
As the oldest city in Finland you can sense history here.
Walks in the park
Straight from our home you can find many beautiful ways to go walking in the forest and in the fields. Leisure island Ruissalo is next to us and you can go there 30min by car or 15 min by car and our small boat (that you can lone). In the city you can walk long way by the beautiful riverside.
Spot of exercise
Beaches, swimming, biking, hiking, walking, many good fitness centres, all kids of sport facilities, boating, amusement parks for kids, slalom, skiing, skating, sledding, fishing, ice swimming and sauna, many Spas (even outside in the wintertime). We have equipments for biking for hole family, slalom, skiing, skates, sledding, fishing
Day tripping
You can have a day trip to Ruissalo Island that is peaceful and beautiful by it's nature (beaches, fine cliffs by the sea, hiking, couple of restaurants, biking, walking etc.) Archipelago by our small boat, by car, by bike or by ferries and cruiseships.) Naantali, a small old beautiful city with many restaurants by the sea. Day tripping even to Sweden by big cruise boat. Helsinki, Finlands capital nowadays is 1,5h by car.
