About our home
Our home is comfortable, clean and cozy. It's not huge, but has a lot of charm. The kitchen has been totally redone within the last year. Upstairs we have two bedrooms and a full bath with tub and shower. Downstairs there is a half bath. Nice private patio with lots of flowers. The office is separate at the back of the patio. It's the ideal vacation place for those who want to be in the country but with access to Paris, Versailles, and the many interesting things to visit in our area of "La Picardie". There is an automatic sliding gate in the front, with a courtyard for parking the car. We do have a garage, but don't use it for the car.

We are an American couple who have lived in France for 25 years. We have three grown children who grew up in France but have since left "the nest".We haven't done a home exchange before, but sounds like a wonderful way to visit other places with the conveneinces of home.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
Ideally located as a touring base, our town offers easy access to Paris(45 min)by train or car, Versailles(1 1/4hr), Amiens (1hr) as well as day trips to the beaches to the north of us(1.5hrs): Tréport, Ault, etc. We are about 4 hours from the Normandy beaches.
Andeville: The village (pop. 3,000) is not lacking in commerce: 2 bakeries, grocery store, pharmacy, post office, and fresh eggs, milk, cheese and yogurts produced in the town! There is an ATM machine in the grocery store just a few minutes walk down the main street.
There is golf, tennis, and swimming nearby. There are many walking and biking trails, as well as a button and domino museum in the town closest to us (2km).
For children there are several amusment parks within easy driving: Parc Saint Paul, Parc Asterix, La Mer des Sables, Disneyland, Sherwood Forest.
