About our home

The house offers excellent accommodation and is decorated and furnished to a high standard with every comfort imaginable - including a well stocked library. The furnishing of the house is a mixture of new and antique and all bedrooms have proper storage and hanging space for clothes. There are electric shutters on most of the windows and doors. The house has a wood burning stove and central heating, so is ideal for a winter's break for skiing and walking in the Cevennes.

More about us

Our names are David and caroline, a married couple with two married daughters and a son. We are retired professionals (lawyer and podiatrist) and enjoy travelling the world in our reitrement. We have done a home exchange before to Boston which was a great success and looking forward to doing it again. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in the France.

David and Caroline welcome you to stay at their delightful home, Le Sabatier, set in one hectare of natural woodland and parterred garden above the old hamlet of Tornac, approx 2kms from Anduze. The house and fenced swimming pool (8 x 4 metres) sit in superb, tranquil gardens with magnificent views over the surrounding countryside. It offers excellent accommodation and is decorated and furnished to a high standard with every comfort imaginable. The property is set amongst vineyards and olive groves.
