Brand new built property in chalet style with modern interior overlooking Lake Annecy with terrace around an open plan living area.The property has underfloor heating and garden. The area is renowned for outdoor activities in the mountains and on the lake The house has panoramic views, we have a garden at the rear with sun loungers, dining table and chairs and a barbecue. We also have a table tennis table on the terrace. We have a television and dvd player in a comfy lounge. We have 6 bedrooms and 14 beds plus a double sofa bed and 2 fold out beds.There are 4 bathrooms, 2 of these have baths, and there is a separate WC on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we have a dishwasher. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier, plus rotary drier outside. We have 3 fridges. There is also underfloor heating. The ground floor is open plan with views of the lake at the front, and the mountains at the back, and has comfy seating for at least 14! Also there are 2 dining areas with chairs for 14, plus 3 stools at a breakfast bar in the kitchen area.
The boulangerie (bakery) is a 2 minute walk as well as a bar and restaurant which has inside and outside dining.
There are many activities on offer within walking and cycling distance - the bike track is suitable for all bikes, roller blades and running, walking etc. It is a 20 minute cycle ride into beautiful Annecy. There is water sking, sailing, windsurfing, canoe and pedalo hire all on the lake. There is a bowling alley 5 minutes walk away. There are many walking routes in the surrounding area.
In winter the nearest ski slopes are at La Clusaz - about 45minutes away, or the Trois Vallees which is an hour drive, or Flaine also an hour.
We don't normally rent it, but will consider if you are interested. Please get in touch! We have 11 bikes for use and the bike track (which is 26 km+ long) is about 5 minute cycle away, it takes 20 minutes to cycle into Annecy, which is a beautiful city at the end of the lake - it has a canal running through it, loads of restaurants of a variety of cuisines and prices, fab shops, amazing markets and sightseeing, museums etc. We are also 10 minutes cycle ride from 2 tennis clubs, we prefer one with clay and hard courts, they cost 10euros an hour ro rent and there are 2 coaches (full time in high season) who are really friendly and good! We are usually able to book a couple of courts whenever we want to play.
There is a boulangerie at the bottom of our road and it's open from 6.30 am til about 9pm, it sells lovely bread, cakes and also basic supplies including wine!! There is a lso a restaurant there, no more than a 5 minute walk, family friendly and with inside and outside dining.
The lake has lots of activities to offer - water skiing, windsurfing, sailing and canoeing, all 10 - 15minute cycle away. There is a free grass beach and a pay sandy beach with a great diving tower, play area, volleyball net, snack bar etc.
Behind the house are mountains which are great for walking, and we often drive to La Clusaz ( 45 minutes away) on the other side of the lake for skiing, ice skating or summer walking, luge, shops and mountain biking.
There is a bowling alley 5minutes away, and mini golf.
There are 2 Savoyarde restaurants, a fish restaurant and a posh French bistro all in the vicinity.
