About our home

A charming historical villa set in an oasis of calm and yet only a short stroll to the centre of Juan les Pins and the beach. Villa les Glycines is one of the oldest villas in Juan les Pins and has been refurbished to retain all the original character yet incorporates all the comforts of modern living.
About midway along the French Riviera, between the glitz of Cannes and grandeur of Nice, you’ll find the historic port town of Antibes and the famous Cap d’Antibes. Smaller but perhaps more authentic than its neighbours, Antibes is predominantly a port, with the entrance to the harbour guarded by ancient ramparts. Today Antibes supports a substantial yacht charter business which gives the old town a lively ‘lived-in’ atmosphere, buzzing with restaurants, bars and music venues which go on into the early hours. Sunrise over the ramparts is a transcendental experience as you follow the path along the old sea walls and look out across the still waters of the Mediterranean. The pretty beach of La Garoupe brings you to the edge of town and the Cap d’Antibes, one of the most sought after addresses of the Cote d’Azur. Better beaches are to be found heading west to the seaside resort of Juan les Pins famous for its annual Jazz Festival and lively nightlife.

The villa is set in a beautiful tropical garden with a swimming pool and plenty of outside eating space. The features of the villa include Trompe l'oile on part of the walls and ceilings. All 4 bedrooms have an en suite bathroom with bath or shower. The master suite has a beautiful large terrace with seating which looks over the garden. All bedrooms are air conditioned.

The people who manage the property for us are english speaking and provide a cleaning service and gardner.

Nice airport is a 25 minute car ride
