We have a historic home in the city of Arcachon, recently renovated, very comfortable and spacious. The last floor is a loft with terraces, jacuzzi and view on the bay (atlantique). The kitchens are large and fully fitted with gas/electric stove and oven, fridges, freezers, microwave, espresso machine, dishwasher...There is a little garden with terrace. The six bedrooms are spacious and very clear, and the beds are comfortable. Several TV and fireplaces. It is also possible to exchange our apartment in the center of PARIS (only four persons) near Montparnasse(see ID=11764),one of them or both.A non simultaneous exchange is possible.

Leur maison est pleine de sérénité, on peut y faire d agréables courant d air l été, ce qui est appréciable. Sa position en plein centre ville est idéale. Vous pouvez tout faire à pieds/vélo: courses, plage, restaurant, boulangerie, vous êtes à côté de tout. Le plus: une superbe vue du dernier étage sur le bassin d Arcachon...”

We were introduced to the main sites by Bernard for the first two days and were invited to dinner sharing their friends too. They were so cared to our needs and prompt to help anywhere and everywhere. This made this exchange a real local experience. Bernard et Michelle,a retired French couple, passed seventies. We love to travel with friends and see other parts of the world.My husband was Agronomy engineer and I sanitory inspector;now retired, we can arrange holidays at will. A no simultaneous exchange is possible.We have already exchanged our homes to go to South Africa, USA( Californie, Boston), Brasil(Salvador de Bahia)Baleares islands(Minorque),Italy(Rome/spolete). We speak French, Spanish and a little English.Often, we travel alone or with an another couple.
The beach is at 150meters. We are 2minutes walk away from shops (foods, news, clothes..) and all amenities (doctor, chemist's, dentist...). Many good restaurants in the area and near the beach. We are 15minutes from Atlantic Ocean beaches and forest (walks and bicycle)). There are many activities for all ages. BORDEAUX, a very nice city, famous for its wine and castles, is at 50 minutes.You can go also to SAINT EMILION a lovely old village and good wine.With a car or with a boat you can go around the bay and go to CAP FERRET.
ARCACHON is a yatch and fishing Harbour ;it is above all a famous spot of oysters's production the first in France .The pyla dune is the highest sand dune in europe.
