About our home

A newly renovated, large four bedroom house in a quiet, residential street a stone's throw from the old quarter of the pretty, Catalan market village of Argelès-sur-Mer, and just 3km from the region's best beaches. The house has been totally refurbished, with three double rooms and one single room, an upstairs and downstairs bathroom, WC, large living room, big kitchen with all amenities, private garden with large terrace and BBQ, secluded, private pool and secure parking. 3 minute walk to the railway station; 30 mins drive from Perpignan airport; 50 mins from Gerona.

Where is it?


Buzzy restaurants
The village and environs have excellent French food: try La Bartavelle in Argeles, or the superb seafood at Les Poissonnerie in Port Vendres.
Cool bars
Perpignan, 20 mins by car or train from Argeles, has great bars, restaurants and nightlife.
Cozy cafés
La Noisette, overlooking the old church and square in Argeles, is a perfect spot for cafe au lait.
Retail therapy
Argeles has a wonderful farmer's market every Wednesday and Saturday mornings, with fresh produce from the local area.
Walks in the park
The park at Chateau Valmy, just outside the village, is free and has stunning views of the Pyrenees and the sea. The Chateau also has a restaurant and produces fine wine.
Spot of exercise
Argeles is cycle-friendly, and you can cycle to the sea and the port easily. Walks in Les Alberes (the foothills of the Pyrenees) are on your doorstep.
Day tripping
Collioure - 5 minutes by train from Argeles - is a stunning, fortified seaside town famous for housing artists such as Picasso, Matisse and Derain.
