About our home

A classical town-house 140m2 +/- from the late 1930ies in two levels with a large terrace (not garden), about 400 m from the "Remparts" the medieval vestiges surrounding the historic town center of Avignon.
Main level: A spacious sitting room giving on to a large and well equipped kitchen. Master bedroom with king size boxspring bed (photos to be done). A television room with a large OLED TV and a 160 x 200 sofa bed (for the odd invite) and tread mill. A well functioning, but old bathroom. Separate toilet. Conservatory (closed off as too hot)
Terrace level/downstairs: Two bedrooms and a lovely shower room with toilet. A "summer" kitchen with (new) small fridge, mini oven, microwave etc. One of two bedrooms is fitted with a brand new double bed 160X200. The other bedroom has a sofa bed (160cm x 200 cm), a desk and a low table.
All bedrooms have new cupboards with penderie, drawers and shelves.
The terrace has two new sun beds. Parking and possible garage.

Where is it?

"Sur le Pont d'Avignon... is known to most I think and I shall not begin to compete with the abundant tourist information available about Avignon or Provence. I have lived in Provence for 25 years now, most recently in Avignon, after Aix en Provence and Bandol and I'll be very happy to share with you. As for the neighborhood the house is only 400-500 m away from the historical, cultural and architectural gem of a Provencal city Avignon is. Nearby must see are Isle sur la Sorgue, the "Alpilles" town of Saint-Rémy de Provence and of course Les Baux de Provence with the magical Carrieres de Lumieures, currently featuring the Provencal illustrious painter Cezanne. Avignon is easy to get to by either plane (Marseille Provence airport) or TGV Highs Speed train. (only 2;5 h from Paris) and a bit more ;) from London
