About our home

Our property is located in the picturesque medieval village of Barjac between the Cèze and Ardèche rivers.
We renovated this old stone house ourselves, combining original materials with comfortable modern designs, creating a comfortable and spacious space. There are three private double bedrooms each with en suite facilities, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. You can park right in front of the house.
Steps lead up to a balcony and the front door. To the rear of the house there is a peaceful sun-bathed terrace, ideal for eating breakfast outside. Relax, read a book and enjoy the sunshine.
We are a few minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and bakeries of Barjac.
There's plenty to explore locally; the Ardèche Gorge and the Pont d'Arc, silkworm and lavender museums, underground caves...
There's plenty to do too; swimming, canoeing, caving, cycling, horse-riding, canyoning, accrobranche (climbing from tree to tree on ropes), walking...
Further afield you can visit the Pont du Gard, Nimes, Avignon and of course the mediterranean (approx. 2 hour drive).
