“We have just returned from swapping our home with Artus and Delphine in Rouen, Normandy. The house is amazing and set in a beautiful part of Normandy. The garden is large and backs onto the river Seine. There is a table tennis table and trampoline. We spent a lot of time out in the garden and had a couple of barbecues. When we arrived we had no problem finding the house, thanks to Artus\' directions and settled in quite quickly. We were welcomed with bottles of cider, home made lemon drizzle cake and jam, all gratefully enjoyed. The children loved the cat and had a two week romance with him, helping feed him and stroking him. The area is full of great things to do and amongst the areas we went to were, the biopark (well worth a visit), Rouen, and we even made a trip to Paris for Disney and the Eiffel tower. We can\'t recommend this house enough and Artus was very quick to answer any queries we had about the house. All in all we had a fantastic time.”

Artus's reviews
As a host (4)“It was such a nice experience to swap house with Artus and his family. We enjoyed dining outside, sitting by the river watching the tide shift or reading. The house itself has a lot of interesting historical detalils paired with modern comfort. They provided a lot of tourist information leaflets not to mention the coffeetable books on the region and places of interest like the coastline, Monets house and Versailles. A car is needed - especiallly during summer holidays. Highly recommendable swap for exploring Normandy. ”
“We, a family of five, have experienced a realy nice exchange with Artus and his family. Their home is beautiful, lots of space and with a big garden. Belbeuf is a nice place to stay for a holiday. Lots of things to do and see and when you have been out al day, coming home to their place is a delight. We felt welcome in their home, we had a good contact and when we came back to Amsterdam our place was clean and well taken care of. Thanks Artus!”
“Four of us enjoyed our stay in Kortrijk. Just 15 minutes walk from station, about 30 minutes by train from Lille, Ghent, Ypres & Bruges, which makes it perfect for sightseeing. A very spacious house, complete with everything you might need for a comfortable stay, large screen TV, grand piano etc. Kortrijk itself has good amenities, lots of good restaurants and bars. Try the Golden Spurs walk, well worth a bit of effort.”

Neighbourhood
Our house is an ideal place to discover Rouen, the capital city of Normandy. Rouen was the capital of the Anglo-norman dinasty who ruled both England and France during the middle ages, and benefits from a large medieval heritage, many museums, shops, restaurants and events.
From our street, a pedestrian path leads to the top of Belbeuf's cliffs and a bicycle path to the quays of Rouen (we have 2 adult bikes and 2 child bikes). By foot, you will also find a tennis court and a rowing club.
The cities of Paris, Versailles, Caen, Amiens and Le Havre (world heritage sites) and numerous main sights of the alabaster coast (Etretat, Dieppe, le Tréport...) and of the flowery coast (Deauville, Cabourg, Honfleur...) are within one hour reach, with stunning shores, cliffs and landscapes.
A bit further, The "Mont Saint Michel", the D-Day beaches (world Heritage sites), The Parc Astérix and Dysneyland Resort Paris are within 2 hours reach.
