About our home

***The calendar below is always kept up to date. Please do not apply for times which are marked red.
We have lots more photos at: and on insta: maisonvueprovence

Our Provencal village house is every Francophile's dream: a beautifully renovated old stone house with extraordinary views in one of the most picturesque villages in Provence, Bonnieux. Maison Vue Provence features three bedrooms, three bathrooms (two of which are ensuite), and a glorious tri-level terrace - complete with a turret top dining area and a cute little plunge pool.

Please note: the calendar below is kept up to date. We don't generally do swaps in peak months. If we have availability during peak times, it will be marked on the calendar, but usually last minute.

We are in the heart of Peter Mayle country: the Luberon. Your days will be spent exploring famous stone villages (Gordes, Menerbes, Rousillon, Lourmarin, etc), buying amazing produce at the many markets in our area (Bonnieux's weekly market is Friday morning), or perhaps checking out the myriad cafes and restaurants available in our little village and surrounding areas (from cheap and cheerful to mindblowing 1-3 star Michelin experiences). And if you are into hiking, the area features many trails from easy to challenging going through some incredibly picturesque countryside.

While there is more than enough to occupy yourself close to our village, if you want a taste of the big smoke (French style), Avignon is about 50 minutes west; Aix en Provence about an hour south; and Marseille about 1.5 hours south. You will need a car to get the most our of your stay in Bonnieux.

Given the nature of the house and the large drop off from the old wall (dates back to the 12th century) this house is only suitable for older children and adults, unless you can convince me that your younger children are used to vertical living!

A cleaning fee of 150 euros is payable.
