Where is it?

Bordeaux, with its charming old quarter and many cultural attractions, is a truly vibrant city just twenty minutes away.
Terrific Atlantic beaches with mile after mile of glorious sand and dunes, great surfing and almost guaranteed sun are within half an hour as are the picturesque small towns/fishing ports of
the Bassin d’Arcachon and the super peninsular of Cap Ferret.
We are on the edge of the heart of Bordeaux wine country with its numerous gorgeous villages and chateaux.
A bit further are the lovely tourist areas of Dordogne and the Lot et Garonne.
Needless to say, excellent restaurants are everywhere and (arguably) the best oysters in the world.
