More about us

  1. We are both teachers and use this flat for our grown up children who study in the city centre.
We will be accompanying a group of French students staying with Australian host families for 6 weeks (July 4th - August 15th 2010). We would like to exchange with a place in Melbourne for most of the time although we would appreciate discovering some other parts of the country.
The flat will be available from April through August. The exchange has not necessarily to be simultaneous.

Neighbourhood

The house is in a very quiet pedestrian street right in the centre of the town, near the cathedral Pey-Berland. The neighbourhood is very lively with shops, restaurants, museums, theatres, markets, the quays, etc.
You can go anywhere from the front door. You don't need a car. The tram exchange is very close to the flat. Cheap rental bikes are provided by the city of Bordeaux.
You can go to the Atlantic Ocean by train (30') and tours of the most famous wineries are organised by the Tourist office.
