“Isabelle's place is totally magical. It's a beautiful, hidden dream house in a quiet, authentic small French town an easy train ride from Paris. We would walk to the bakery every morning for croissants and baguettes and be welcomed home by their 2 charming dogs who the kids fell in love with. Communication with Isabelle and her daughter Flo was brilliant. Would highly recommend.”
“Horses grazing in the fields on the other side of the walled yard and yet just 25 minutes by RER to Paris' Gare du Nord railroad station. The best of both worlds: relaxed country living and just a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of one of the world's really great treasures. My son-in-law had never been to Paris, so one morning I said: "let's have coffee, on the Champs-Elysees overlooking the Arc de Triumph". We trained in, grabbed a taxi and had fresh orange juice, a croissant and coffee with the Arc de Triumph in the distance - people watching. And we were home before noon. Isabelle's French manor house is just how it's pictured. It's a beautiful family home with all the modern amenities one could wish for. The weather was perfect. We spent many evenings, martinis and meze (Greek for hors-d'oeuvres) in hand, reviewing the day's events at the little-wrought iron table pictured in front of the home. Soccer, ping-pong, trampling and largest hot tub I've ever seen - my grandchildren tried them all. There are a couple of bakeries nearby (one within walking distance) and a hypermarket E Leclerc - about 15 minutes/4 km away in Moisselles. Leclerk is a department store and a supermarket all in one and its big! It has a never-ending selection of electronics, hardware, clothing and a food floor that does the French proud. I have saved the best for last: Isabelle. Isabelle is the best. She made our family trip to France pleasant and worry-free. She arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport and for a taxi to take us back to the airport. She had a neighbour help familiarize us with the home when we arrived and a housekeeper to come by twice a week to tidy up. And, she allowed me to drive her BMW SUV - a real treat. We've been to Paris several times but never stayed in the country and never before in Isabelle's hospitable hands. If you are thinking of Paris Isabelle's French manor house in Bouffemont is the best of both worlds. "It's never too late." Cheers Peter ”
“We had a lovely stay at this great family home located in a beautiful village close to Paris. Everything we needed was there and lots of information provided on things to do. Very thoughtful family who even left Christmas gifts for all the family 10 out of 10! Thank you”
“Isabelle was a joy of a guest. Considerate and great levels of communication. ”
