About our home

Our apartment is situated on the 3rd and last floor of the building facing east (morning sun).
Always Parisians. We have been living in this home for the past 35 years and our 3 children were borne there. Spacious with a very opened view from the large balcony, (we can see the Tour Eiffel to remember where we are) the apartment can very comfortably accommodate 4 people with 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, microwave, dishwasher etc.. except the sofas and beds, the furniture is vintage french 17 and 18th century received from our parents.
The apartment is equipped with adsl fast internet wifi access including television. There is a large TV set and dvd player. There also is a hifi set. There is an underground parking space under the building with direct access to the elevator. a car could be left for use.

More about us

Florence and I are a recently retired couple married for 40 years. I used to run a small company of my own, dealing with printer supplies.
we have 3 children and 4 grand children (soon 5): Fabrice managing director in a French bank and who has been living in Manhattan for the past 12 years, Stephanie who is an architect and Alix who is in charge of customs investigations.
We are going for exchanging home to be able to help our son and daughter in law with the birth of their second child in Manhattan in September 2010.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Situated in the west end of the larger Paris city we can offer the proximity of the city with the calm of a residential area by the river. the apartment is only 6mn walk to #10 metro direct line to "Quartier Latin" or with only 1 change to major department stores.
There are all the food shops at the end of the street, 5mn walk.

For those who wish to know more of the country, we can also offer the use of a cottage situated in Normandy, near the D.Day beaches and the Mont St Michel, only 15mn drive to Deauville. There are 10 golf courses within 20mn drive.
