About our home

10 year-old house on 350mÂ² of land. 4 bedrooms, 2 downstairs, 2 upstairs. We actually use one as a study. American style kitchen with double door refrigerator. One car garage. Large patio in the back. Large living room with couch and fire place. Bay windows.

More about us

I am a single mother of two children age 15 and 11. We used to live in Austin, Texas where the children were born. We would like to come back to the States particularly. In Florida therefore we are looking for a long term exchange, aprroximately the school year, to look for a suitable, permanent area. Ideally, we are looking for people who would like to experience a year in France in a centrally located area. If you have children and would like for them to benefit from the French school system, St Germain has elementary and junior high. The high schools are in Bourges.

Residential neighborhood of single family homes.
Our littel town (5000 inhabitants) is located 8 kms from Bourges. Bourges is a large gallo/roman medieval city with an impressive cathedral. We are about 2 hours south of Paris and close to the Loire valley and its chateaux. If you do not wish to take the car there are direct trains to down down Paris. Bourges is right in the dead center of France and therefore a pretty good starting point to anywhere.
