About our home

Located in Plouguerneau, pays des Abers (like fjords), the house looks over sea and is only 250m away from a little white sandy beach. It is a contemporary, spacious (150 m²), very quiet, luminous house that can sleep up to 10 people. On first floor, you will find a large sitting area/dining room with sea view and fireplace (at summer time, you will benefit from wonderful red sunsets from the window) leading to a well equipped kitchen. 2 Bedrooms with queen size bed, one of the bedrooms has its own little shower room, 1 WC, and one bathroom. On second floor, there is a large bedroom (30 m²) with 2 single beds (ideal for children), a little sitting area,1 bathroom and 2 bedrooms with queen size bed and magnificent sea view.
Dryer and washing maschine are in the garage.
Garden (1000m2) and large wooden terrace with sea view.

More about us

  1. I’m Genevieve, retired (68), and plan to travel with my daughter (Caroline 38) and my little daughter (Valentine 8) and maybe my son-in-law (Arnaud 39). We would like to go to a sunny and warm area for this summer, in Europe, between the 15/07 to the 15/08/06, for a minimum of 2 weeks. But during the other periods, I’m open to anyplace even if the exchanging dates are not simultaneous.
I will be happy to send you more pictures if you want to have a more accurate opinion about the house and the surroundings.

Look at the www.abers-tourisme.com to get more informations on this area.

Neighbourhood

Plouguerneau has a lot of wonderful white sandy beaches. When sun shines, the sea takes after a lagoon with different shades of blue and it is beach time with lots of preserved places where to sunbathe. When the weather is gloomy (which can happen for we are in Brittany after all), you can practise fishing, sailing, horse riding (in a nice manor) and if the weather is really bad (quite rare at summer time) just treat yourself at the restaurant “captain crêpes” and savour crêpes while enjoying the sight of tumultuous waves out of the panoramic windows, or visit Oceanopolis (Ocean Discovery Park). It is an other kind of holiday, but when you benefit from sunshine all year long, you might enjoy a place that combines authenticity, quietness and beauty. We promise the house is very comfortable and that the surroundings are delightful, the only thing that we can not guarantee is that sun will be shining during your whole stay !
It takes between 45 to 90 minutes by car to go to Quimper, Locronan, Carantec, Roscoff, presqu’île de Crozon, pointe du Raz, Concarneau, Pont-Aven, which are interesting cities or spots.
Do not miss either the visit of the islands of Ouessant, Molène, Batz (with its beautiful tropical garden) and of course all the Abers which are very close.
Nearest airport : Brest (30km)
Nearest ferry terminal : Roscoff (50km)
