About our home

This 16th century Breton farmhouse retaining it's original character, has been sympathetically renovated with exposed beams, stone walls and huge fireplaces. The interior is spacious, pretty and light and is comfortably furnished, housing many antiques.
There is a large formal sitting room with beamed ceiling, large open fire, with three sofas and antique furniture, glass partition doors leading to galleried dining room;a second sitting room (suitable as a family room/children?s room) with two sofas refectory table and chairs, Video and large open fire. The recently renovated "Christopher Peters" handmade wooden fitted kitchen has antique dressers, larder fridge, microwave, cooker and hob; the utility room has washing machine, dryer and family fridge. All four rooms downstairs have doors leading to the outside. There are steep narrow stairs to 1st floor and 5 sizel floored bedrooms. The house sleeps 10 - two double-bedded rooms, one with king-size bed and three twin rooms, and two bathrooms.
The farmhouse is covered in wisteria, honeysuckle, roses and clematis and to the back there is an orchard, two cider barns and lightly wooded grounds of 4 acres. There is a graveled area to the front of the house as well as a lawned garden area leading to the pool 8 x 4 x 1.2m depth.
