Our apartment is new, modern and and situated in a secure complex. It has a balcony which overlooks a plaza in the centre of Cagnes sur Mer. From the balcony there is a view of Haut de Cagnes(a 13th century medieval town). Nice airport is only 10 minutes away by taxi or 20 minutes by bus. The apartment is on the direct route between Nice and Cannes. The local train station with routes to Cannes and Ventemiligia (in Italy) is also a short walk away. The Tourist Office is situated across the plaza from the apartment.
My husband Paddy and myself live in Dublin, Ireland. We bought this apartment over a year ago. We enjoy travelling and thought it would be a good idea to do a swap so we can experience what its like to live in other countries. We both play golf and enjoy walking.
Cagnes sur Mer is situated between Nice and Cannes. The town is divided into three main areas - the town centre (the apartment is situated here), the old town (Haut de Cagnes) and the beach area(Bord de Mer). There are a wide variety of local restaurants. The famous Hippodrome (horse racing) is also situated here. The beach is a ten minute walk from the apartment or you can take the local bus there.
