About our home

We live in a big house which has a garden and a swimming pool. If there are children, parents have to pay attention of them because the swimming pool isnât protected.
There are 3 bedrooms (a 2 persons bed, a one person bed and, in the last room, a 2 persons bed and a mezzanine bed), a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room with a piano.
We would consider exchanging cars : one or both of our manual 2003 air conditionned cars (Renault Clio2 & Citroen C3).

More about us

My name is Bernard Pignault. I work in Schneider Automation, a French subsidiary of Schneider Electric, as an electronics engineer. With my wife we would like to go to Sydney, before Christmas, to discover the town (and Australia) for 3 weeks.
My wife, Michele, is a social worker in Sophia Antipolis. We have 3 children. Our elder son lives in Nice with his wife. We have two daughters. The older lives in Paris and the younger is student.
She is in Sydney to make an internship for 5 months, from the end of August 2005 to February 2006. This is one of the reason why we would like to go to Australia just before the Christmas area.
We are non-smokers, we have no pet, and prefer to exchange house with non-smokers which have no pet.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We live at 10km from Cannes in Mouans-Sartoux, a little town in French Riviera, South France. The town count 10 000 inhabitants. Itâs very sweet. The center town, where there is a castle, is 10 minutes from our home on foot. In the center town there is a little park.
By train Mouans-Sartoux is 10 minutes from Grasse, 15 min. from Cannes, 55 min. from Nice (30 km) and, by Monaco, 1h 40min. from Vintimille (Italy). Itâs also easy, in 45 min. to go to Nice, where the international airport stands, by the motorway.
The area is famous for the Cannesâ Film Festival and for the International Perfume Capital in Grasse. The French Riviera is wonderful thanks to its yellow beach, blue sea and white mountains in winter. In December the temperature is around 10Â°C. It seldom snows in the coast but itâs already occurred. However itâs possible to go to ski in the Alps. Two hours away, by car, there are ski stations (Isola 2000, Auron).
