“We, a family of 4 people, have had a wonderful holiday at Sylvie and Lionels home. Their home and their swimmingpool is just the place to stay during summer. We also loved to play tabletennis and just to sit in the shade in their garden. Montpellier is easy accesible by tram, only a 7 minute walk from their house. We did a bike tour for contemporary architecture and saw a lot of the modern Monpellier. The old Montpellier is also very nice, just to walk around and enjoy city live. There are lots of things to see and do around Montpellier and when you return home the swimmingpool is waiting for you! We also loved the fresh eggs in the morning and the home grown tomatos from their garden. Communication with Silvie and Lionel was easy, and they took good care of our houseboat in Amsterdam. “This exchange in August 2010 was certainly one of the best experiences we had since our 1st exchange in 2007: the house is a very spacious and modern villa, warm and welcoming, very comfortable and well designed. The garden is absolutely beautiful, with a nice swimming pool, a covered terrace, a vegetable garden with tomatoes we never found anywhere else. The house is in the countryside of Montpellier surrounded with the vineyards, but only 15 min. from the center of Montpellier. And last but not the least, Sylvie and Lionel were particularly easy to arrange this exchange and absolutely trustworthy. I would strongly recommend them to other people who want to discover this region. Merci encore Sylvie et Lionel!”

“Nous sommes enchantés d’avoir échangé notre maison avec Sylvie et Lionel. Ils sont charmants, accueillants,communicants et respectueux . Leur vaste maison avec piscine nous a ravis les grands comme les plus jeunes. Nous avons eu aussi le bonheur de déguster de belles tomates de leur potager et des œufs des trois poules. Nous avons visité de jolis villages, une cave à vin , des plages de la Méditerranée ...et tant d’autres. Nous les recommandons vivement . ”

“We had one of our best house swaps yet at Sylvie and Lionel’s home. The house was very well designed for the climate as there were lots of different places to sit to get sun or shade depending on your mood. Eating outside at the BBQ was heaven, with lots of room for the 6 of us so we unusually spent very little on eating out. The pool was great fun. The house was very clean and all the communication was easy. Before we started the swap we had a minor concern that their adult children living on site would impact on our privacy, this was definitely not the case, the main house is very private and whoever was in the sub-house did not impact our stay in any way. Their cat was adorable – a big ball of fluff. Montpellier has some fun interesting architecture which is well worth seeing. There is a large shopping centre in the centre with easy parking that is fully air-conditioned which proved useful on a particularly hot day. Round and about the area there are lots of things to see and do, we did not have time for everything in our 2 weeks (mainly because the house was such a nice place to sit and read a book).”

“We enjoyed our stay at Silvie and Lionel's home very much. We stayed there in April '10 and used the family's bikes to get around. The house is spacious and very sunny, but cool. The terrace doors open to all sides of the house towards the lovely garden. The swimming pool is a treat on a warm day. Montepellier is within easy reach by tram or bike and is has a lovely old town center. The family has looked after our house with care, which made the exchange a total success.”
