About our home

Italian constructed luxury development in the very heart of historic Chamonix. The apartment is on the top floor of a five storey complex, with wonderful views of the Mont Blanc massif. A river runs through the complex, which has dedicated underground parking. Top level security is incorporated. The apartment has an all wooden feel with savoyarde furnishings, one double bedroom, one twin and an interesting mezzanine with another double bed with it's own bathroom.
The lounge/diner has TV, DVD, radio, sofa and chairs. The kitchen has all modern conveniences less a washing machine - thank god.
A lift connects the apartment to the dedicated car parking and cave in the basement and to the entrance at ground level.

Where is it?

To say this is a beautiful Alpine location is to underestimate the effect of arrival here, it is breathtaking.
Chamonix is the top Alpinisme resort in Europe. It combines an authentically dramatic sports environment with a unassuming atmosphere. This is not the place to come to pose. All winter sports are available betweene late December and April and in summer when the weather is georgous, the place is alive with people golfing, walking, rafting, horse riding, playing tennis, cycling etc;
There is a casino and every other form of life and entertainment here.
Within a few hours one can be in Italy (the Mont Blanc tunnel) is 1 Km away leading to Couermeyer and Aosta, and at the head of the valley a road through Vallorcine takes you to Switzerland and Montreux within 10 Kms.
A trip up to the Aiguille du Midi can extend by cable car into Italy where views of three countries mountain tops can be seen.
Food is truly international with the Savoyarde cuisine being perfect after a hard days walking or other sport. On the other hand it is not so bad after a day in the sun.
