AVAILABLE FOR SUMMER RECIPROCAL SWAPS IN FRANCE, ITALY, AND SWITZERLAND.
Chalet Bear is an architecturally designed boutique chalet located in Chamonix Mont Blanc. Combining luxury materials and stunning design, this spacious chalet has a beautiful living space, terrace, outdoor swim spa (6m jacuzzi pool) and private garden all offering stunning views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi.
Located on a private lane just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Chamonix, our guests love the quiet and traquility the chalet offers, as well as the easy access to all of Chamonix's diverse restaurants, designer shops and trendy bars.
THE CHALET
The chalet itself is over 170sqm, and has 4 individually decorated bedrooms, each with it's own ensuite bathroom, as well as 1 additional mezzanine sleeping area. For adult groups the chalet is comfortable for 6-8. Cots for babies can also be provided (more details on bedroom make-up below).
THE LIVING AREA
The main living area (55sqm) is spacious, and makes the most of the views of the mountains on all sides. There is a log fireplace, lounge seating for 9, and dining seating for 10. There is a large smart TV with access to netflix, Amazon etc as well as UK and French TV channels.
THE KITCHEN
The newly installed Devol kitchen is a beautiful design feature with island the breakfast bar. There is a SMEG range cooker, large fridge, separate freezer, plus separate wine fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. You will also find essential alpine cooking tools like a fondue set, and pierrade too. Additionally, you have a nespresso machine and a boiling water tap.
THE GARDEN
Patio doors lead you directly from the lounge out onto the terrace and garden, where you will find your own private sunken hot tub, sun loungers and dining table & 8 chairs, plus garden and 300 yr old mazot. For kids, there is a trampoline, badmington set and other outdoor toys.
THE BEDROOMS
The master bedroom has a superking bed, plus ensuite bathroom with bath and separte shower. There are 2 additional bedrooms which can be twin or double, both with ensuite bathrooms. The 4th bedroom is our daughter's bedroom and has a bunkbed with double bed on the bottom and a single bed above. This also has an ensuite shower room.

There is parking outside for up to 3 cars

“ Chalet Union is beautifully & tastefully decorated, fully equipped, within easy walking distance from Chamonix centre yetnestled in a quiet location with the MOST AMAZING views, garden & hot tub overlooking the Aiguille du Midi, Mont Blanc & the Glacier des Bossons. We really enjoyed staying here. Despite having a list of places recommended to go out for dinner…we didn’t go out at all in the evening, the location was so beautiful we were happier staying at home and chilling. Communication with the hosts was seamless and super friendly. The property was spotlessly clean. We would definitely recommend this property.”

The chalet is located in the heart of the Chamonix Mont Blanc valley. Chamonix is world famous as a winter and summer destination, and sits at the foot of Mont Blanc. It is close to both Italy (through the Mont Blanc tunnel into Courmayeur) and Switzerland (1 hr from verbier, and Geneva).
Chamonix is a beautiful alpine town with plenty to do all year round, and is ideal for families especially. It has a vibrant community, and all year round nightlife too. There are many fantastic restaurants and bars, as well as many shops ranging from Chanel, Helly Hensen, North face to name a few.
