About our home

The house,cosy and with a lot of character, has an 80 sq m living room, with balcony, and a 5,000 sq m garden with two terraces. We have a spacious kitchen, two beautiful bathrooms, one with bathtub and separate shower, the other with shower; both with twin washbasins. There are four bedrooms, one with separate balcony, an activity room wit billiard/snooker table, an office, a laundry room. The garden has a full size swimming pool, with spa, shower and poolside beds, a ping pong table, a thousand books, mainly English (and a tractor for cutting the grass!). A cat will have to be fed - if not by you then we will have neighbors take care.

More about us

We are Robert and Angela, English and Swiss, in our fifties with two grown boys - and another a Uni. We have already exchanged five times and very much appreciate this form of holiday.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We live in a horse-riding village, with pine woods all around, and fields and the river Arve, which joins the Rhone at Geneva and its lake, just a 30mn drive away, with the fantastic Haute-Savoie region all around us. Chamonix, the site of Mont Blanc, is one hour a way by car, with Italy exactly on the other side; the charming town of Annecy, half and hour, Geneva itself, 25 minutes. It is ideal for people who like walks, mountains,lakes, nature.
