About our home

Our home is a fully renovated stone house from the 14th century. It is very quaint, very French, very romantic. It is located on the edge of a square, with graet neighbors around, with a little park behind next to the rive Cerou. The views are gorgeous overlooking the old town from our windows and then again, all around the rolling hills of Tarn countryside waiting to be explored. Our home is tastefully decorated in modern French country style with a few antiques and modern Ikea furniture. There is cable television and high speed internet with wireless router as well as a wii set in our home. The bed in the master bedroom is 160cm wide, we have a pull-out sofa in the living/office area on the second floor that can sleeps two children or one adult, and we have a second bedroom on the third floor with a 140cm wide bed. We have a small garden with umbrellas and a spacious outdoor dining set as well as bicycles for three to ride in the surrounding hills. Parking is plenty and very close.

More about us

  1. We are a family of three from Arizona. We have moved to France to enjoy the French life style, learn the language, and travel from our central location in the South of France to see as much of Europe as we can. We are professionals, my husband is 51 and I am 41. My son is 10. We love to travel, good food, great company and good friends. My husband loves scuba diving and anything to do with water and the beach. I love to cook and garden. We both love to hike and enjoy meeting new people whatever their interest may be. We also love animals and would be happy to take care of yours.

Where is it?

We live in a truly beautiful part of France. Cordes-sur-Ciel is a Unesco World Heritage site and a 3 Star Michelin attraction. Gorgeous rolling hills and vineyards are around as far as the eye can see. Albi, another 3 Star Michelin attraction, is just 20 minutes away with its magnificent Cathedral, Toulouse Lautrec Museum and beautiful renaisance palaces. Toulouse is an hour's drive and the Aveyron Gorges are half hour away. Oh, and I need to mention the food, traditional duck, goose and foie gras cuisine typical of the South of France.
