Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Corte is a central place: right in the middle of the island. U can reach easily cities on the coast as Bastia, Ajaccio, Ile rousse, and Porto-Vecchio (in train or bus).
Corte is just 500m above sea level, but it is really moutainous all around, and so there are a lot of hiking paths starting from Corte...
Besides, the first place to bath in the mediterranean sea (Ostriconi)is just 40minutes driving from Corte. And if u want to bath in Corte, it is possible: there is a stream just behind my flat!
