Family house in a residential suburb 20 minutes from the center of the pretty, historial town of Lyon, South-East France, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lyon is a Roman and medieval town with great shops and local markets, restaurants, museums, very good night-life, park. It is also the Gastronomical capital in the heart of a wine producing area. The house is at the foot of the beautiful Monts du Lyonnais hills. Hiking circuits or drive between traditional goat farms and fruit orchards for wonderful local produce. A great base for visiting the Beaujolais 1/2 hour drive, Burgundy 1 hour drive, French Alps 1 and a half hour drive, Provence, Ardèche 2 hour drive, Switzerland 2 hour drive, and Paris 2 hours on the high speed train.
