About our home

Completely renovated house. 250 sq.m. 4 bedrooms. Master bedroom (first floor) has a king size bed (2x2 meters) and its own dressing room and bathroom (with sauna). Other bedrooms are upstairs. One has a queen size bed (1.60x2 meters), anoter one a double bed (1.40x2) meters and the last one has a one person bed. They share one bathroom. Lovely garden (3.000 sq.m.), very private with nice covered pooled (12mx6m). When in the garden, you can only see the roof of one other house, apart from that, you only are surrounded by fields and trees. We have a big HD plasma screen in the living room with a high quality music and home cinema (BlueRay) installation. Master bedroom has also its own TV and BluRay player. A small playroom upstairs has also its own TV and DVD, for children.

Jérôme is an independant consultant in sustainable investment and Nathalie is a professional vocal coach but also a professional pianist. We have 3 children: Guillaume (20) is studying economy and management in Lausanne, Nicolas (19) is actually a trainee in a 5 star hôtel in Geneva and will integrate the International Hotel School of Lausanne next September, and Clara (13) who is in a pluri-lingual school (having lessons in French, German and English) but who is also a singer, following an intensive training in music after school hours.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Located in Divonne-les-Bains, a thermal resort located 15 kms away from Geneva (Switzerland) an 7 kms away from the Lake Geneva. Located at the foothill of the Jura, you can see the Alps and the Mont-Blanc on the other side of the Lake Geneva. Divonne is a beautiful small town, with one of the most reputable casino in France and an international class golf course. Activities include mountain biking, hiking, cycling, as well as water sports such as water skiing, There are often sailing competitions on the Lake Geneva, which are beautiful to look at. Divonne also offers a beautiful outside olympic-size swimming pool. Visiting Geneva can make you busy for many days, with its museums, its old town and its luxury shops (nice to see, even if you don't buy!). You can also visit Lausanne, another nice city on the Lake Geneva, 45 minutes away from Divonne. Drive a few kilometers more and you are in the Lavaux region (Unesco World Heritage site - see picture), on the Swiss Riviera (Vevey and Montreux). Chamonix and the Mont-Blanc are only 1.5 hour drive away, so is the Valais, a renowned Swiss canton with international mountain resorts such as Verbier or Crans-Montana. We can include our Toyota RAV4 in the exchange.
