About our home

This is a small place that seems very spacious. It has has very tall ceilings and one of the bedrooms is on on a mezzinine overlooking the living area and the French doors which lead out to the terrace and small grassy area with a beautiful view of the sea. It was built in the 80's and is joined with 7 other townhouses which are securely gated. I have totally renovated the inside with antique architectural elements, chandeliers, mirrors, etc Lot's of pillows, chaise lounge and sofa for relaxing.

Where is it?

It really is an idyllic location. Half way between Nice and Monaco. There are steps right outside our complex leading down to the sea and train station. You can take the train into Italy in the morning and visit the open air markets if you want to cook Italian that day. Or you can take a nice healthy 40 minute walk up to the top of Eze the ancient perched village for your morning coffee and shopping. Also, 2 kilometers away is the adorable town of Beaulieu (beautiful place) and explore the morning market, the gourmet markets and lovely little cafes in town or the fabulous restaurants at the marina only steps away and at the same time, marveling at the belle epoch italianate architecture And of course there is Nice 15 minutes by car one way and Monaco 15 minutes the other. You could also choose the train. Nice has a brand new just opened in 07 tramway that starts near the train station and makes a V down to Place Massena and up to Place Garibaldi. I forgot to mention that the Village Eze has a 3 star Michelin restaurant at the Chevre D'Or and the one at Château Eza is great also. This area is wonderful in summer or winter. Winter is quieter and it only gets down to around 50 degrees. We also have a very charming old walnut oil mill home in the bucolic country side of the Lot river valley. It has 5 bedrooms and 5 and a half baths
