About our home

Large and very comfortable 200 year old French stone house renovated in 2005. House was not destroyed in war and the exterior is original stone. Originally a "maison marchand de tissue" where fabric was made on the two top floors with the shop floor being the ground floor. The now garage was a stall for the horse and carriage. (fits two cars).Cool in summer and cozy in winter with a working fireplace. All amenitiesin inox (stainless steel). Micro, oven, dishwasher and crepe makers, raclette maker, fondue makers, waffle maker, etc.(french staples). We would explain all in advance. Much bigger inside than seems to be on the outside. Two modern showers and a big old fashioned bathroom on the second floor.Playroom on third floor. Garden, terrace and barbecue. Great neighbors. Quiet neighborhood and not very touristy.Good shopping. You could just blend in with the French countryside and culture. A french minivan (a/c) that fits seven would be included in exchange so that you could sightsee in comfort. We also have a paino, bicycles, roller blades, ping pong table and friends with horses! We are a five minute walk to the train station (two and a half hours to Paris)(boat to England one hour away) and a lovely park with a fishing pond and children's play area, and jogging paths.Lots of walking paths and Mountain biking trails. You could bicycle to sightsee. Some people bike to Mt St Michel from Flers.Could list babysitters (our's) if you wanted to spend some quiet dinners alone
