More about us

  1. We are a family of 4. Luc(47) Brigitte (42)both speaking English and understand Spannish, Charlotte (14) and Emilie (12). Charlotte and Emilie both learn English at school, but are not yet fluent. We also have a very small, gentle, loving cat Pepite(3) who is supposed to stay at home while your stay, but we are willing to find another solution if you wish. We have two cars. We would like to travel through Europe but also in all other foreign countries. We are of course very respectful of others and their property and would treat your house like our own.

Neighbourhood

Francheville is a middle size town of approx. 11,300 people, located in the suburbs of Lyon, France. Our home is located in the green area, a short walk to all of the local conveniences (store, post office, cafe's, etc), and at 12 minutes from Lyon by car and half an hour by bus or train.
Lyon's rich heritage resources reflect the different eras and tell the story of the city. Lyon's listing by UNESCO as a World Heritage site gives recognition to two exceptional features: "continuity of urban development" -the listed site covers a territory of 500 hectares (1235 acres) where the entire history of the city can be seen, from the founding of the Roman city of Lugdunum.
