About our home

French and Spanish below / français et espagnol ci-dessous / francesa y español abajo.
Small, bright apartment with a fantastic view, in a 1960s building with high ceilings. There is a double bed and comfortable sofa-bed, so it can sleep 4, although bear in mind that the bed nook is only divided from the living room by a curtain (see photos). The location is fantastic: Everything you need on the doorstep (boulangerie, fromagerie, pharmacy, fruit + veggie shop and two big open-air markets), literally 5 minutes walk from the train station. Close to the center of Grenoble, where you'll find lovely boutiques, restaurants and more ice-cream shops than you can shake a stick at (but why would you shake a stick at ice cream?). Surrounded by mountains, rivers and lakes, Grenoble is great for skiing, hiking, cycling, kayaking and generally splashing around. The town has cool street art as well, and a really friendly laid-back feel. I came for 3 months and stayed for 2 years.
