About our home

Now you are looking at the photos of our vacation villa - we hope that you will fall in love with this house and beautiful place as we do. Our heart is always there, in this oasis of peace and beauty on crowdy and noisy Cote d’ Azur.

The villa is located in a nice area alongside with the forest and mountain - you will be able to feel all benefits of total privacy. It is set in a peaceful gated domaine, so you will feel very safe and enjoy scenic views over the Bay of St.Tropez. You can walk around, practise hiking and enjoy fantastic sunrise and sunset. You will never forget this colours of nature. The Mediterranean sea is just few minutes down the street on a car or a bicycle (we will provide you with TWO electric bicycles).

The villa has a lovely swimming pool, garden and terraces with outdoor dining facilities -great for a fresh croissant or pain au chocolate with a cup of good coffee in the morning or BBQ lunch or dinner.

There is a large living room, dining area and 4 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms + 1 more toilet downstairs. The villa is very tastefully furnished and our kitchen is fully equipped (especially we love our professional LA Cornu oven.)

During hot months there is a big advantage to be on the "upper level", because in the afternoon it is not so hot as down the street near the main coast road.

There are a lot of active and passive activities in the area. You can spend your day on a beach, go for a walk, play golf, enjoy wonderful bicycle lane on the coast or do mountain biking , , visit restaurants etc.

There are a lot of interesting places to visit just nearby, like Port Grimaud - local “Venice”, and you can also drive rather far off. For example - Gorge du Verdon , Aix en Provence, Porquerolles island , etc.... If you will go to Grasse, you will be able to visit all perfumeries there.. And we have a lot of ideas more!

Our villa can accomodate up to 8 person, nevertheless we will not be able accept more than 4. We accept teens , but not small children. We can consider your well behaved dog too.
And we only do simultaneuos swaps.
We are only interested to swap with rural areas or quite suburbs, and we accept only detached houses with a garden. Sorry for this restrictions.

More about us

  1. We are a couple in the beginning of our 50s - Oleg and Julia.
    Julia is a financial manager recently retired. Oleg is an economist, still working, has his own business.

  2. We love to travel, love cycling. We travel with our rescued labrador Manya, who is a very quiet and well behaved dog.

  3. We are interested and will be happy to welcome a couple or a family with teens or adult children in our nice french vacation villa. We would love to visit quite places, by the river/lake/sea coast with good possibilities of long cycling walks. But we are opened to other nice proposals. Feel free to contact us, we will be happy to answer all your questions and to get new friends.

Where is it?

FOOD SHOPS:

For fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, meat and cheese we would recommend you "Grand Frais" in Cogolin. They are opened Mon-Sat 8:30-20:00 and Sun 9:00-12:30

Also there is the supermarket named "Geant" really close to the villa

The nearest possibility for very good croissant and bread is "La Tarte Tropezienne" - just go down by car and turn right - it will be in 200 metres on the right

BEACH:

If you want to use a private beach and don't need a "fashion" company there - we would recommend you to go to "La Voile plage in Nartelle" after Sainte Maxime. They have better sun-beds, very good service and the good food. If you like a wild and very clean beach you can go to Gigaro (use Google maps to find). Even in the season the water is clean and fresh (go early or you may not find the parking). Be aware that it is a little bit far away - approximately 20-25 minutes.

CONCERNING THE TRAFFIC IN THE HIGH SEASON:

If you don't want to be stuck in the traffic I would recommend you to leave the house before 9 and to come back in lunchtime ie 13:00-14:30. In these periods the roads are much more empty.

If you want to go to Saint Tropez market I recommend you to be there by 9 o'clock. Otherwise all the parking can be full.

Famous market in Saint Tropez is on Tuesday and Saturday
Market in Port Grimaud is on Sunday
Market in Grimaud village is on Thursday
